  • On Tuesday, February 07, 2023, at 4:15 p.m., a computer science colloquium will be held in the large lecture hall in the Mathematikon on the topic of "Property-based Testing", A Practical Introduction. The speakers are Johannes Link and Matthias Merdes, Heidelberg Institute for Geo Information Technology (HeiGIT). Further information can be found here. The colloquium will be held in German.
  • On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 3 p.m., the information event on studying Computer Science will take place as part of the Study Information Days. Prof. Michael Gertz will give a presentation on the topic "Computer Science - Shaping the Future" (in German). The event will take place in the large lecture hall in the Mathematicon. Satya Almasian, Milena Bruseva and Marina Walther impressed at the HerHackathon 2022 with their contribution "ShoppingBud" and took the first place in the cross-challenge final round.

Heidelberg team wins informatiCup 2022!

On May 2nd, the final round of the 17th student competition in computer science of the society for computer science took place. The HeiSpeed team from Heidelberg University presented itself as the winner of the event, providing the best solution, with the students Julian Freyberg, Jonas Wildberger, Marina Walther and Holger Wunsch.
